Meet Kheireddin Mufti, an AGF scholar from Syria who pursued a MS in Human Genetics at McGill University
“Al Ghurair STEM Scholarship was a life-changing experience and it placed me a step closer to my dream. It offered me the chance to complete my master’s degree in at one of the world’s top institutions known for medical research.”
Kheireddin graduated from McGill University in 2020 and is currently pursuing his PhD at the University of British Columbia, Canada.
During his studies at McGill University, he was able to publish five research papers and presented his projects at international conferences.
Kheireddin aims to employ genetic variations among people into personalized and safer cancer therapies, which he ultimately hope to be translated into clinical practice in the Canadian Healthcare system.
