Meet Ahmed Ghouneimy, an AGF scholar from Egypt who pursued a BS in Biology at the American University in Cairo

“As an AGF scholar, I grew as an independent scientist capable of pursuing my academic and personal goals in a unique fashion. I received unprecedented support that opened the gates for exploration of endless opportunities and hobbies. I had the chance to diverge from my field of study and discover other interesting and seemingly unrelated fields, which eventually converged with my field of interest in an extraordinary experience.”​

Ahmed graduated from the American University in Cairo in 2021 and currently he is pursuing his master’s degree in Bioengineering at King Abdullah University of Science & Technology, Saudi Arabia.​

Ahmed is looking forward to completing his studies after 5 years so that he is able to benefit his community with his knowledge.
