Meet Ahmed Borik, an AGF scholar from Egypt who pursued a BS in Electrical Engineering at the American University of Sharjah
“I was fortunate enough to be selected to be part of the first cohort of Al Ghurair STEM Scholars Program. Being an AGF scholar at that time made me realize my capabilities and potential for growth; it grew my sense of connectedness to the community and my sense of social responsibility.”
Ahmed graduated from American University of Sharjah in 2018. Upon his graduation, Ahmed was referred by AGFE to CAFU’s parent company, and he has been employed as an IoT system Engineer II in the Applied Research & Development team at CAFU. Currently, Ahmed is employed as an IoT and AI Development Manager at Etisalat, UAE.
Ahmed is always keen to improve himself at every stage in his life.
“I live today to be a better and more knowledgeable person than the one I was yesterday.”
